Instructions for Online Examination:


1. The candidate is going to be given the power for mock tests. Link for the mock test is going to be available on the web site 
https://jeecup.nic.in, before one month of the examination. The mock test is going to be a reproduction of the web examination.
2. The Examination is going to be computer-based with the questions and choices being provided onscreen with multiple
choice answers in both English and Hindi languages.
3. Computer-based exam software will support standard features like time left, flag questions for review,
navigation to unanswered questions, prompt for submission, and auto submission of response at the top of
the examination.
4. No candidate, under any circumstances, is going to be allowed to enter the Examination Center after 10 minutes of
the commencement of the examination.
5. A seat indicating roll number is going to be allocated to every candidate. Candidate should determine and occupy their
allotted seat only. Any candidate found to possess changed room or the seat on his/her own aside from allotted,
his/her candidature shall be canceled and no plea would be accepted for it.
6. The biometrics Capturing (photo and fingerprint) are going to be captured at the time of the examination center and can be used at the time of seat allocation and admission for authentication purposes.

10. Before and through the examination, the invigilator will check the Admit Card of the candidate to satisfy
himself/herself about the identity of every candidate.
11. All rough work shall be wiped out the sheet provided within the examination hall only.
16. Candidates shouldn't leave the room/hall until the Invigilators ask to go away from the room/hall.

 

Instructions for Offline Examination:

1. Candidates are advised to bring with them a cardboard or a clipboard on which nothing should be written so
that they need no difficulty in filling responses within the Answer Sheet albeit the tables provided within the examination
room/hall do have a smooth surface.
2. No candidate, under any circumstances, is going to be allowed to enter the Examination Center after half-hour of
the commencement of the examination.
3. A seat indicating roll number is going to be allocated to every candidate. Candidate should determine and occupy their
allotted seat only. Any candidate found to possess a changing room or the seat on his/her own aside from allotted,
his/her candidate will be canceled, and no plea would be accepted for it.
4. Ten minutes before the commencement of the paper, each candidate are going to be given sealed Test Booklet with an
OMR Answer Sheet placed inside it.
5. Immediately on receipt of the Test Booklet the candidate will pull out the OMR answer sheet from the top of the
test booklet and make sure that the test booklet and OMR answer sheet bears an equivalent serial number else ask the
invigilator to supply a replacement test booklet and OMR answer sheet having a same serial number.
6. The candidate will write particulars with Blue/Black Ball Point Pen and darken the circles on the OMR Answer
Sheet. After completing this step, the candidates will await the instruction by the invigilator.
7. The candidate won't open the Test Booklet until asked to try to so by the Invigilator.

8. The test will start exactly at the time mentioned within the Admit Card, and an announcement to the present effect is going to be made by the invigilator.
9. At the commencement of the paper, the candidate is going to be asked to break/open the seal of the Test Booklet. The
candidate will be checked carefully the question and options in Test Booklet are printed in ascending order
from 1 to 100. just in case of any discrepancy, the candidate should immediately report the interest the Invigilator
for replacement of both the Test Booklet and therefore the Answer Sheet.
10. During the examination time, the invigilator will check the Admit Card of the candidate to satisfy himself/herself
about the identity of every candidate. The invigilator also will put his/her signatures within the place provided within the 
Answer Sheet.
11. The candidate won't do any rough work on the solution Sheet. All rough work is to be wiped out the Test
Booklet itself.
12. Please don't fold the OMR Answer Sheet and don't make any stray marks thereon.
13. a light-weight or faintly darkened circle may be a wrong method of marking and susceptible to be rejected by the Scanning
devices. So, the circle should be properly darkened. The sample sheet of the OMR answer sheet is attached for practice
as annexure -1.
14. The OMR answer sheet provided to the candidate contains 2 carbon copies. Candidates are advised to stay 
the answer sheet correctly at the time marking responses in order that all responses marked by the candidate should
appear properly on carbon copies of the answer sheet.
15. After examination, the invigilator will collect Original and First carbon of the OMR answer sheet. Candidates will
take the Question booklet and Candidate carbon of the OMR answer sheet with them.
16. Candidates shouldn't leave the room/hall without delivering their OMR Answer Sheets to the Invigilators
on duty.
